The F’s

Halloween musical selections that I have complied over the years. Updated 2017.

As you can see not much in the F category, need more Frankie songs

Anyway again it is a wide variety with lots of styles represented:  some kids, some scary, some funny, some gross, and some just damn weird.

My first choice is of course the Flying Dutchman by Wagner. Of course the music is from the opera of the same title. The idea came from the legend of the Flying Dutchman, about a ship captain condemned to sail until Judgment Day.

Full Moon is a new song to my list a couple years back, from the movie Twilight by the Black Ghosts. It is a very haunting melody

Feed My Frankenstein by Alice Cooper. The song was featured in the 1992 film Wayne’s World, in which Cooper performs the song at a concert.

Fog by John Carpenter, enough to make the hair stand up on your neck

Funeral March of The Marionettes by Charles Gounod cannot be left off.  The piece is best known as the theme music for the television program Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Frankensteiner Polka by Monster Music Morgue
